What an End of Term Party!

We had a busy day at our house today. Anna had two parties to attend! What a bit of coiffeuring - now you have to bear in mind Anna is all of 11!!! The first party was a birthday party and she enjoyed it very much but the second party was even more exciting! It was an end of term party. Anna is leaving her primary school and moving to grammar school. Only two of her classmates are going to the same school and so they will shortly have to say their goodbyes. One of her friends decided to have a leaving party Anna (along with the others) was collected in a Stretch Hummer! How exciting!! My parents were here, my sister was here and after it arrived most of the neighbours were out too!!! Here are some pics!

Less is More - Monogram Challenge!

Last week, including the weekend was an extremely busy week for me and I didn't get the opportunity to participate in last week's 'Less is More' challenge. I was determined that this week would be different and somehow I would squeeze in some crafting time! Here is the result - I hope you like it!

Less is More Challenge!

This is the first time I have submitted to the Less is More Challenge! I love the 'Clean and Simple' style and most of my cards end up coming into this category, just recently I discovered this fantastic blog and I made some time today to take part. The challenge today was to design a card with a Monochromatic colour scheme and this is what I came up with!

Sweet Sixteen!

Another Sweet 16 card! The recipient of my last card decided she would like one for her friend whose birthday is this week. This is the result - made at around 11.00 at night - in a rush!
