Today is my lovely Auntie's birthday. She is in her late seventies and has just spent many weeks in hospital recovering from a stroke. Unfortunately last week she fell and fractured her hip, is back in hospital and has undergone hip surgery. We wanted to make today a special day for her! My youngest daughter and I spent yesterday evening putting together a small scrapbook and making cards while my husband baked the birthday cake - chocolate - yummy!!!
This morning I was up early and have already completed a scrapbook page to replace the front page - which I decided duriing the night that I didn't like!!!
Here are the cards I made for her husband to send and also ourselves.
Hello Jill, both of your cards are jus beautiful. On the blue one I love the cut edge and the font on the sentiment is lovely. The second one is just perfect. I love the embossing and the pearls. What a dear your Aunt. I wish her well. Have a fabulous day.
